The irrational mathematical constant of phi. The Golden Ratio. Originally Greek in origin and then brought forward through the Renaissance Art Movement. Generally reffered to as the golden rectangle, in which the ratio of the longer side to the shorter is the golden ratio. In other words; it looks right.
Three independent dimensions to specify colours as we see them. Munsell determined the spacing of colors along these dimensions by taking measurements of human visual responses.
